Our welcome party will take place on August 6th, and our wedding ceremony and reception will take place on August 7th. If you plan to attend both events, we recommend arriving at least one day before the welcome party to allow time to settle in and adjust to the time difference.
Lake Como is accessible from several airports, including Milan Malpensa (MXP), Milan Linate (LIN), Bergamo Orio al Serio (BGY) and Lugano Airport (LUG). We recommend Milan Malpensa (MXP) as the most convenient option, as it is about 45 minutes to Cernobbio by car. We recommend booking flights as early as possible to secure the best availability and rates.
As our wedding weekend will take place in Cernobbio, we recommend staying in either Cernobbio or Como for the most convenient access to all festivities. Lake Como is an expansive lake, and navigating to and from other parts of the lake can be challenging and time-consuming. Unlike many major cities, ride-share services such as Uber are not widely available in the Lake Como area. We recommend arranging transportation through your hotel concierge whenever possible, as they can easily assist with taxis, private drivers and local transportation.

Welcome Party Cocktail attire is encouraged. Dresses, jumpsuits, chic separates, suits and sport coats are all appropriate. Jackets are optional for men. Wedding Day Black tie attire. Tuxedos for men and gowns for women. Black dresses and color are welcomed. Parts of both events will be held outdoors. For the welcome party, the event will be held outdoors on a covered terrace. For the wedding day, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors while the reception and after party will be held indoors. Please note that August in Lake Como brings warm, sunny weather, with temperatures typically peaking in the mid-to-high 80s and dipping into the low 60s at night. Ladies may wish to bring a light wrap or shawl for the evening. Please note that both venues include gravel walkways and uneven surfaces. We recommend comfortable footwear and shoes with a block heel, wedge, or thicker heel where possible. We will also provide heel protectors for guests.
