FAQs & Details

The Wedding Website of Alexandra Summey and Josiah Steidinger
Question

What is the RSVP Deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP using our Zola wedding website, by Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Please note this is also the cut off date for the hotel lodging room blocks.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to our limited venue space, our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones dearly, but due to space limitations at our venue, we are only able to accommodate guests aged 18 and older. We thank you for your understanding and can't wait to celebrate this milestone with you.

Question

What time zone is Cleveland, Tennessee in?

Answer

Eastern Standard Time

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend being seated about thirty minutes before the ceremony, which begins promptly at 3:30pm. From the barn parking area, it may take a few minutes to catch the small shuttle (starting at 2:30pm), or to take an uphill walk to the pavilion, so please plan accordingly. The shuttle will stop running right before the ceremony begins to avoid interfering with the wedding and photos.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. Jackets, tie, or dress shirt with no tie is appropriate for men. Dresses, pant suits, or skirt is appropriate for women. No jeans please. The weather fluctuates in October in East Tennessee, so please bring a sweater, wrap or jacket if wanted.

Question

What should I know about the Hope Hills Venue?

Answer

The ceremony will be held rain or shine in a covered, open air pavilion at the top of Hope Hill. The reception with dinner and dancing will be held in the indoor/outdoor barn and tent area. There are restrooms at both the pavilion and barn. Hope Hills is a dry venue and alcohol is strictly prohibited anywhere on the venue property.

Question

Any notes about getting to the venue and parking?

Answer

You will need to take a few Tennessee backroads to get to Hope Hill, however you can access the venue easily by car. There is a Hope Hills Venue sign at the end of their driveway. Guest parking will be at the lower barn area which is the first building you come to on property. The uphill driveway and parking area near the pavilion will be blocked for wedding party vehicles and for attendees needing extra assistance only. There will be a small "UTV type" shuttle that will continuously run back and forth from the barn parking area, beginning at 2:30pm to the ceremony pavilion, and any guest who wants a ride up the hill is welcome.

Question

Are you registered and where?

Answer

Yes, please see the registry tab on our Zola website for more information.

Question
