Jackson and I met at Red Robin. Jackson previously worked there a few years before and then joined the Army after basic training he came back home and decided to come back. I am so glad he did. I remember him walking into the expo line and I thought "wow, he's cute". I will never ever forget that moment. I didn't know that I believed in love at first sight until I saw Jackon Pennington. Shortly after we started working together he asked for my number, but he played it off by saying "Hey, can I get your number in case we need to switch shifts?" Of course, I fell for it! And everything after that was perfectly meant to be.
This was the most amazing proposal that I could have ever asked for. We had a trip planned to go to Palm Springs, and we both needed a little weekend getaway. So off to Margaritaville, it was! On our second to last night there we decided to walk around downtown Palm Springs and we found a Mexican restaurant to eat dinner at. We decided to share a plate of chicken Fajitas and Jackson just decided to ask right then and there. It was perfect. Chicken Fajitas will forever be my favorite food.
After we officially started dating we decided that we were going to move in together after dating for only 6 months. We got our first dog together his name is Ekko. He is the silliest little dog that we could have ever gotten. Then we ended up being gifted another little puppy named Louie and before we knew it we had our hands full. But I would not have it any other way. Now we are finally moving into a wonderful apartment of our own.
