No. absolutely not, but we do want to encourage attendance or participation to make this their best year yet!

I'm not flying into Key West directly. I'll need to rent a car and drive down from Ft. Lauderdale/ Miami. Can I split a rental car with friends?

Absolutely! We have made the guest list public so that you can see who is coming and coordinate plans for travel.

I'd like to split a hotel room/ Airbnb with some friends but I don't know who is coming.

Our guest list is public. Feel free to peruse it and check if any friend are going that you can split/ coordinate accommodations with.

Please arrive 15 minutes early.

Yes! The dress code is beach casual. Wear those salmon colored pants and flowery dress. It's Island Time Baby!

There is free parking at Smathers Beach.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels/ airbnb to the ceremony?

Answer

No, there is not. We suggest either renting a car, Ubering around, or renting bikes for the weekend. Key west is so small that Ubering, biking, or walking is totally doable.

When should I book my travel and hotel/Airbnb?

Answer

ASAP. Most airlines are being very forgiving with their cancellation policy right now, and so are AirBnbs and Hotels. The island is small, and this is snowbird season, so the sooner you can get hotel/Airbnb, the better.

Are there going to be morning Mimosas at the ceremony?

Answer

Sadly, no... They don't allow alcohol on the beach, and while it's easy to hide in your cooler or a tumbler if it's just you and a friend, it's just about impossible to hide if you're having a wedding ceremony with 50+ people. That being said, we don't look down upon you smuggling the 40oz Hydroflask filled with mimosas into the ceremony. ;-)
