Food will be provided at the reception! There will be diabetic and dairy free options. The menu will consist of- House salad Steak Tips Teriyaki Chicken Mac and Cheese Hash Brown Casserole Green Beans Carrots Biscuits Baguettes
Alcohol must be very limited at the reception as it will take place on the peninsula immediately after the ceremony. Alcohol is not technically allowed on the day use areas of the park. Once the reception has finished, we will continue the party behind the cabins and have a fire to end the night as that's where our love started- at a fire! There- drinking will be allowed! Very limited alcohol will be provided if there is something you would like to drink, please bring some.
There is parking in front of the cabins themselves. There is also parking on the peninsula but it is a little more limited. There is a walkway that goes from the cabins to the peninsula is that is something you would like to do it is very pretty but it is a bit of a hilly walk. Carpooling to wedding area is suggested.
On Oct. 8th we can enter the cabins any time after 3 pm. On Oct 11th checkout is by 11 am. Day of the wedding- Oct 10th- we will be having the ceremony on the circled peninsula a few hours before sunset, we will have the reception following immediately after with food and dancing, then when it starts to get dark, we will move behind the cabins themselves for a fire and a continuation of the celebration!
Sunday best. Stilettos are NOT recommended as there will be quite a bit of walking in grassy areas. If wearing heels, I would suggest something with a thick heel. Do not need to have cocktail attire, just try to dress nice (:
I'm fairly certain I have included anyone who could be coming as a plus one in the reservations. If their name is not listed just let me know!
We will be right on the lake! If you feel up to it and would like to try to get in bring a swimsuit and jump on in! Park swimming pool will be closed at this time.
