Nothing like a pandemic to bring true love together. Shortly after everything started going back to normal, is when our love story began. It was just the beginning of junior year, when everyone was afraid to come out of their dorms, or leave anywhere without disinfecting everything. My roommate and I (Payton and Alex) decided we wanted to meet new friends, but in a way we thought would be fun! We started a game of tic-tac-toe on a sticky note, and chose a random door on every floor and from there basically played ding dong ditch. As the game went on, and after continuously knocking on each other's door; then running down the hallway, the game finally came to an end. It wasn't until the end, that we got each other's socials and started talking every day after that. One hang out led to another, which then led to a first date, which then led to "will you be my girlfriend?". Years later, and our love story continues.... but who would have thought that a silly little game during a pandemic, would have led us to each other.
