Domestic Flights
For guests who prefer to fly rather than travel by ground transportation, there are two airlines that offer flights from San José International Airport (SJO) to Quepos Airport (XQP). The flight is approximately 25 minutes and provides spectacular aerial views of Costa Rica's coastline and rainforest. After arriving at SJO, you will need to clear customs, collect your luggage, and walk to the domestic terminal, which is approximately a 7-minute walk from the international terminal. The following airlines offer service to Quepos: • Sansa – www.flysansa.com • Costa Rica Green Airways – www.costaricagreenair.com Upon arrival at Quepos Airport (XQP), you will need to arrange transportation from the airport to Manuel Antonio. Our villa pre-concierges can assist with coordinating a shuttle service if needed. Please note: If your international flight arrives in San José later in the day, there may not be any remaining domestic flights to Quepos. In this case, you may need to spend the night near the airport and take a domestic flight to Manuel Antonio the following day.

Our villa concierges can arrange private transportation service 24 hours a day, allowing you to arrive comfortably at the villa no matter what time your flight lands—even late in the evening. This private van service offers a relaxing drive through Costa Rica's stunning landscapes, with opportunities to stop along the way for photos, refreshments, or a bite to eat. The trip typically takes approximately 3 to 3.5 hours. Pricing varies based on the number of passengers, so we encourage guests arriving around the same time to consider sharing a ride to help reduce costs. Upon arrival at the airport, your driver will be waiting outside the terminal holding a sign with your name after you have collected your luggage. Our villa pre-concierges will coordinate airport transportation arrangements for all wedding guests. Even if you plan to arrange your own transportation, we kindly ask that you complete the registration form. This will ensure that you are registered with the villa and have unrestricted access to come and go freely when visiting us throughout the wedding celebrations.

Parking is very limited in Manuel Antonio so often having a car is more of a burden. Taxis are plentiful and not expensive to get around town. If you are planning on staying after, you can arrange for a car to be delivered to your lodging upon check out

La Mariposa is located at the top of the hill in Manuel Antonio providing guests with spectacular views overlooking the national park and Pacific Ocean. When making your reservation, please enter the wedding code Alex&Clarke2027 in the Special Request field. This code allows the hotel to identify your reservation as part of the wedding group and apply the approved 5% discount to the published room rate. To ensure you receive the discounted rate, reservations must be made directly through the booking link provided above.
