Our Story
On August 8th, 2023, God began writing a love story we never could have imagined.
Alex had been praying for a place to belong and felt led to try a new young adults group. That night happened to be the Lebanon recap night, where Christian shared about the trip that had captured his heart. Before leaving, his mom had teased, “Don’t come back with a Lebanese wife,” and it quickly became a running joke with the team there.
When Alex walked in that night, Christian couldn’t look away. After service, she introduced herself saying, “Hi, I’m Alex. I’m Lebanese!" A friend nearby with tears in her eyes looked at Christian saying, “That’s your wife.”
From there, the story unfolded slowly and sweetly—slower than Christian would have liked (because Alex said no three times before finally saying yes). But when she did, their love grew fast.
After a year of pursuit, they began dating on July 31, 2024. Nine months later, Christian proposed—but this time, Alex said couldn't say yes fast enough.
