Ten years down, forever to go!

Back in Houma, two of our friends set us up on a blind date at Applebees - home of the microwaved mozzerella sticks. At first, Chaning didn't want to go- he literally had to be bribed! Chaning's dark sense of humor and Lexi's goofy demeanor meshed perfectly. We fell in love quickly and began living our lives together. As all young people inevitably do, we realized we had no idea who we were. To be the best we could be for each other and ourselves, we took some time apart and found each other again a year later. We learned that not only are we better people when we're together, we both choose each other every day. Choose each other as partners, as lovers, and as best friends. As many of our friends and family know, our journey has been one of ups and downs, love and loyalty-- and of course, a healthy dose of therapy.

In the comfort of our cozy home on a Sunday afternoon after a fun-filled morning of Emo Brunch, Chaning proposed. The simplicity and intimacy of the moment was perfect. Just us, our love, and our crazy pets. After ten years together, we decided it was time for forever. And yes, we were still dressed like we belonged in My Chemical Romance. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
