April 3, 2019 was our 4 year anniversary and also the day I have been dreaming of since 2014. Of course, Chandler had the whole day planned out because he had been planning the proposal for about 3-4 months. The day consisted of breakfast, pedicures, a picnic, watching Master Chef Junior, and just spending time with each other (our favorite thing to do)! After a day filled with laughs and adventures we had “dinner reservations” at Firebirds, (I’d also like to add in that we were HUNGRY)! Chandler drove us to Firebirds, then stopped the car and said “we aren’t eating here, I have dinner reservations at a place we have been wanting to go to for a while now”. He made me close my eyes for about 50 minutes while we drove around town aimlessly because he was waiting to get the clear from Syd and Steve (our best friends that set up the proposal site). Background knowledge: Chandler rented out a cute little venue in Downtown Glendale for the night. We finally arrived there and I opened my eyes and I immediately knew what was about to happen. Words can’t even describe how perfect the proposal was. There was string lights, lanterns, candles, rose petals, and it was the most romantic gesture ever! Chandler walked me down a path, sat me down and read a letter that he wrote to me. The song that is in the video is the song that was playing while he was reading the letter to me (one of my favorites). It came to the time when he got on one knee and my heart filled with complete and utter joy! If you know me, you know that I don’t cry... (and I will admit I shed a tear or two)! We spend the rest of the night calling family and friends and that was both of our favorite parts of the whole experience (besides actually being engaged)! Thank you everyone for all the love and support, we are beyond thankful! With all of that being said, Chandler and I are so excited for this next step in life and we will be getting married June 6, 2020!
