House Or Rental
Check in: 3:00 pm. We have rented this airbnb to be the main hosting site for some of the wedding events. Carter and I will be staying at this location and It will be the site for the wedding ceremony at 4 pm on March 1st. The house is across the street from the the Banana Beach which will be the site of our Dinner Reception after the wedding ceremony. Once we have confirmed who is staying at the main house with Carter and I we will send the Airbnb invite so that you all have all the specific details for the house.
House Or Rental
Check in: 2:00 pm. This house is a very close walk to the main house where some of the wedding events will be taking place. This house is advertised to have beach and jungle access with a pool and AC. I will send people the specific link to this house once we have decided who will be staying in which house.
Flight
Flying from America to Costa Rica you will most likely be flying to this main international airport that has you landing in the capital city of San Jose. From the San Jose airport you will need to organize and decide how you would like to get to Santa Teresa Beach. There are 3 main options: Option 1 ) Fly from San Jose to Cobano Airport then you are about a 30 minute drive from Santa Teresa. If you Think this is the best option for you then please read about this option below. Option 2 ) Rent a car in San Jose and drive to Santa Teresa. Be advised the drive is about 4-5 hours long and has a car ferry involved during the trip. This means you will have a rental car for the entire long weekend so you will be able to use the car for any excursions you would like to organize during your vacation. Option 3) May be the most comfortable and best option. Organize a sprinter van private transfer with others to have a private driver pick you up at the airport and drive you to Santa teresa.
Flight
Cobano Airport code ACO, also known as Tambor Airport, is the closest airport to Santa Teresa Beach and Town where the Airbnbs are located. You can fly direct from San Jose to Cobano Airport but please be warned that the Cobano Airport is very small and the jets you will be taking will be TINY. If you have fear of flying you should look for an alternate way to get to Santa Teresa. The Cobano Airport is about a 30 minute drive from Santa Teresa.
Rental Car
Please make sure if you are renting a car you rent one with 4 wheel drive to manage the roads through jungle terrain.
