The Dune Climb is part of the Sleeping Bear Dune National Park and is a great place to hike and see spectacular views of Glen Lake and Lake Michigan. Upon entering, there is a parking lot and picnic area at the base of the dunes. You can then "climb" the sand dunes and continue to hike around the surrounding area. The area is vast and the sand is soft, so no shoes are needed. More information can be found on the national park website.
This is one of our favorite hikes (~1.5 miles) that offers some of the best views of Lake Michigan and the surrounding area.
This driving loop is part of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. There are stops along the way with views. We highly recommend "Stop 2. Glen Lake Overview" and "Stop 9. Lake Michigan Overlook". If you would like to see views of the National Park but are not as interested in hiking, this is what we would recommend. That being said, there are opportunities to park a car and go hiking within this part of the National Park. More information can be found on the National Park Website.
Outside of the Empire Bluff Trail and the Pyramid Point Trail, there are other hiking trails within the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. We'd recommend using the AllTrails App for more information.

Rent Kayaks/Canoes and spend 2-3 hours going down the winding Crystal River. This is a lazy river experience (i.e., no rapids) and we typically bring along beverages. More information can be found on the Crystal River Outfitters website.
Recommend reserving a few days in advance!!
