General Travel Information

We recommend flying in through the Louis Armstrong New Orleans Airport (MSY), the city's main airport.

Hotel Suggestions

We have collected a number of hotel suggestions to fit various interests and budgets. There are few hotels by the venue itself, though it is a quick car (or streetcar!) ride from most of these suggestions. Uptown hotels (closer to the venue) will generally be quieter, while those further downtown (downriver, generally East-ward) will be closer to attractions such as the French Quarter.

Hotel

St. Charles Inn - Hotel Superior

3636 Saint Charles Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70115

This 3-star hotel is along St. Charles Avenue in Uptown. It is about 15 minutes by car or 30 minutes by streetcar to the wedding venue. Very close to the top-tier wine bar Delachaise.

Hotel

Club Wyndham Avenue Plaza

2111 Saint Charles Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70130

This 3-star hotel is along St. Charles Avenue in Uptown, also about a 15-minute car ride, 30-minute streetcar ride from the venue.

Hotel

The Pontchartrain Hotel

2031 Saint Charles Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70130

A 4-star hotel with live jazz music in the main bar most nights. Also along St. Charles Avenue.

Hotel

Park View Historic Hotel

7004 Saint Charles Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70118

A 4-star hotel, the closest to the venue. Housed in an old Victorian mansion with a quirky bar (don't worry, the stuffed peacock comes from a peacock farm owned by the owners).

Hotel

Wyndham Garden Baronne Plaza New Orleans

201 Baronne Street, New Orleans, LA 70112

A 3-star hotel near downtown's busy Canal Street and the French Quarter (but not in it). Streetcar will take you nearly an hour to get to the venue, but by car it is still only 15 minutes (due to the fact that New Orleans geometry is non-Euclidian).

Hotel

Holiday Inn New Orleans-Downtown Superdome by IHG

330 Loyola Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70112

Either a 3- or 4-star hotel (depending on who you ask), located in the heart of the Central Business District. Close to several nice restaurants, the New Orleans Public Library, and (as the name implies) the Superdome.
