At the time, my best friend Jeyson was with me, and we were really focused on the gym—so we went often. After a while, Jeyson left, and I was alone in the city, but I kept going to the gym. That’s when I noticed Alexa looking at me. At first, I thought she was looking at someone else, but something inside me told me to go talk to her. I started panicking a little about my English—it wasn’t great—but I decided to go for it anyway. So in this beautiful love story, I can proudly say that I made the first move. I walked up to her and said, “Hello, what is your name?” (Yes, really! Haha.) That same night, I went straight to her profile and looked through all her photos. I remember thinking, Wow—what a BEAUTY. I was coming home from work when I pulled into the driveway and immediately noticed my two best friends' cars. Alan had landed at the airport just an hour before.
