Our story began in the most unexpected of places—high school, right at the end of senior year. It was a time of farewells and new beginnings, but little did we know that our connection would be one that would stand the test of time. Even as we stepped into adulthood, our bond remained unbroken, bridging the gap between college attempts, and the twists and turns that life brought our way. As we ventured through our early adult years, we kept in touch, our friendship deepening with each conversation. After leaving college prematurely, we both found ourselves back home, where that friendship naturally blossomed into something more. We started dating, sharing moments of laughter, dreams, and the comfort of familiarity. But life had other plans for us. Alexandra joined the Army, a path that led her away for a time. Yet, when she returned to Florida, it was as if no time had passed. We reconnected, finding our way back to each other with a renewed sense of purpose and love. After a year of rekindling our bond, Alexandra made a bold move to Minnesota, and Bayo, realizing that his heart belonged wherever she was, decided to join her and Oni, embracing the idea of becoming a family. Over the next few years, our love story grew, not just in heart but in family. 18 months later, we welcomed our first son, Baby Bayo, followed by the joy of Uziah, and then Yemi. Our family of six became the embodiment of our love and commitment to each other. On February 2, 2024, Bayo proposed, sealing our journey with a promise of forever. Our love story is one of destiny, resilience, and the beautiful dance of life bringing us back together time and time again, until we finally became the family we were always meant to be.
