We’re getting married!

Back in 2021, our friends Peyton and Emily invited us both to a small get together. I came with Emily, and Wes arrived later. We introduced ourselves, chatted briefly, and then went our separate ways. Over the next three years, we dated other people and only crossed paths a few times. In March of 2024, I had just come out of a relationship and wasn’t ready to rush into anything. Still, I had a feeling that when Wes and I finally did start dating, it would be forever. We stayed friends for a few months, growing closer and learning more about each other along the way. On June 15, 2024, we went on our first official date to Steele Mill in Slippery Rock. Then on July 3, Wes surprised me with a picnic at Fireman’s Beach in Conneaut Lake and asked me to be his girlfriend. I, of course, said yes. It turns out timing really is everything, and ours was finally just right!
