If it is to be, it starts in Capri! We met at the welcome party of our dear friends, Brittani and Teddy, on a beautiful rooftop in Capri, Italy in September 2021. Harry spotted Ali and immediately knew he had to say something to her. After they left Italy, Ali returned home to New York and Harry to D.C., but talked every day and decided to meet up for a proper first date on an October Saturday in beautiful...Atlantic City. The location was very spontaneous, but so are both of us, so it ended up being the perfect place for our first date! From Atlantic City onward, we decided to make long distance work and continued to see each other in NYC and DC, and had many memorable trips across the U.S. and abroad. Harry eventually moved to NYC and they settled into their neighborhood of Seaport in December 2022. Harry knew during Christmas 2023 that he wanted to ask Ali's dad for his blessing to propose to Ali and would try and find the right time when they were alone. He managed to find a moment with Ali's dad while they were on a quail hunt (a bold move considering firearms were around but fortune favors the bold!) and was fortunate to receive her father's blessing to propose to Ali. In March 2024, Harry proposed to Ali in their neighborhood of Seaport, NYC and surprised Ali with her family showing up. While the weather was rainy, our spirits couldn't have been brighter, as we have both never felt more love than on this special day. Because we met at a destination wedding, we felt it was only right that we have one ourselves! August 2025 cannot get here soon enough and we cannot wait to celebrate with our loved ones. We recommend you stay in the Cascais area as well. We can't wait to celebrate with all of you! xx
