How do I RSVP and by when?

Answer

Head to the RSVP page and enter your first and last name and follow the prompts. RSVP by no later than December 1st, 2019. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Who's invited to the ceremony?

Answer

We have decided to have a private and intimate wedding ceremony which will include our wedding parties and our parents as the guests of honour. This will take place at the beautiful Saskatoon Berry Farm the afternoon of December 31st, 2019. We will be meeting our guests at Royale that evening for our cocktail reception.

What time should I arrive at the wedding reception?

Answer

The reception will start 7:30pm. We are anticipating a late night of celebrating once we ring in the New Year.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Not only are we celebrating our special day with you but we are really looking forward to ringing in the New Year as well. Semi-Formal attire will look amazing as we dance the night away!

Will there be food?

Answer

Hors d'oeuvres will be available throughout the evening alongside a few delicious late-night snacks. All food will be provided by the amazing chefs at Royale. There will be no formal sit-down dinner to encourage our guests to mix and mingle!

YES! We will have a cash bar available with an assortment of beer, wine, spirits and champagne!

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We are so lucky to have been in each others lives for close to 9 years. With the recent purchase of our first home and it's ongoing renovations we are looking forward to planning our honeymoon and spending some time together on an amazing vacation. If you would like to gift us something please consider contributing to our honeymoon fund.

Are children invited to the wedding?

We love you and we love your kids, but tonight is your night off. Please leave the kiddo's at home and join us for a night of celebrating!

Is parking available at the reception venue?

Answer

Parking on 17th Avenue and surrounding streets at Royale is free after 6:00 pm but may be a challenge as this is a busy area with a number of busy restaurants. Royale has a pay-for parking lot directly behind the restaurant with 2 other rear lots on either side of Royale, including a Rear-Entrance directly into Royale. Rear parking access is via the back alley off 7th or 6th street. For those travelling by Taxi or Uber to/from Royale: - Uber is available in Calgary if you already have the Uber App - Checker Cabs is a very good Taxi service and we recommend downloading their App onto your phone to arrange for a ride (it’s faster and easier than trying to get through to any of the cab company’s on New Year’s Eve). 17th Avenue is also very busy and Taxi’s may be available to flag down.
