It all started with a Hinge match… For those who don’t know, Hinge is a dating app (yes, very millennial of us but you can’t blame us.. COVID really limited our dating scene). Jarrett’s opening line was “What are you looking for on this app?” Alex, being the witty gal she is, replied with “A microwave, how about you?”. Jarrett’s answer was much more earnest, looking for a relationship that would turn into a life long bond (or something along those lines). Two weeks later Jarrett took Alex on their first date, mini golf. Jarrett, being the clever guy he is, bet a kiss if he won. Needless to say the odds were stacked against Alex with Jarrett being a professional golfer. Alex fought a long and hard 18 holes of putt putt to lose her end of the bet. Fast forward to now, Jarrett and Alex both agree it was the best loss she has ever accrued (even though the bet was rigged given the unmatched skill set in terms of golf)
