Reading Terminal Market
A Philly classic! This historic indoor market is the perfect spot to grab lunch, sample local favorites, or just wander and take in the energy of the city. Don’t miss Hershel’s for an incredible Ruben or Rachel sandwich and the Amish bakeries for fresh donuts, pies, and other sweet treats.
Try a Cheesesteak!
Everyone has their own opinion about where to find the best cheesesteak and we’ll let you be the judge! - Angelo’s – Famous and busy, be prepared to wait in line. - John’s Roast Pork – A bit of a hassle to get to, but a true local favorite. - Cleavers – Centrally located and great if you want to order ahead. - If you're out on South Street try Jim's South St. or Ishkabibble’s
Rittenhouse Farmers' Market
Rittenhouse Park is one of our favorite places in Philly, and the Saturday farmers market (9:00-2:00pm) is a great place to grab breakfast. We recommend you stop by the Frecon Farms stall and try any of their baked goods (you can't go wrong with their cheddar chive scones)!
Philadelphia's Magic Gardens & South Street
Explore Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens, a stunning mosaic art space by local artist Isaiah Zagar. Then stroll down South Street for funky shops, vintage finds, and great food — it’s one of Philly’s most colorful spots!
