Alexandra and Avi met on June 27th, 2014 in Philadelphia at a mutual friends apartment. At the time Lexie was living in Harrisburg and Avi was living in Philadelphia. When their mutual friend, one of Lexie's sorority sisters from Penn State, said they were having a bunch of sorority sisters over, Avi and some of his friends (a bunch of 24 year old guys) were more than happy to partake in the social gathering. They started talking at their friends apartment and Lex was surprised that this one guy was giving her so much attention. That night everyone went to a bar in Philadelphia called L'Etage. Lex and Avi danced and talked the whole night. They started talking that following week and seemed to have a connection. While both were interested, there were some hesitations. For example, a couple weekends after meeting, Avi and some of his freinds were going to Atlantic City. He asked Lexie if her and some of her friends would want to join and even offered to pay for a hotel for them to stay in. While Avi thought that was a pretty "boss" move, Lexie thought it was "weird & creepy." Another example was the first time Avi asked Lexie if she would officially be his girlfriend, she gave some "requirements" including he had to visit her in Harrisburg and meet her sister's first. A trip to Harrisburg and some Alicea family dinners later, Avi and Lex were officially dating. By the time they get married on September 17th, they will have been together for nearly eight years. They both love a lot of the same things. If you know them, they are both obsessed with their Bichon Lincoln, family and friends are everything to them, and they consider themselves so lucky to have such amazing people in their corner. They both love to travel, party with friends, eat great food and are always excited to learn something new. If you're reading this, you probably already knew most of that about them so it wouldn't be surprising when you hear that what they want most on their wedding day, is to spend it partying, eating, and being with all their friends and family.
