We met on a cruise in The Bahamas. We were both on bachelor/bachelorette parties for close friends and met on the deck of the ship the second night. We sat on the deck and talked for hours. After the cruise, we went our separate ways back to Dallas and Boston. We got to know each other over FaceTime and dates whenever we were in the same city and the rest is history.

We went out to a nice dinner at The Boathouse in Richmond, VA after Paul graduated from the FBI Academy. After our dinner looking over the James River, Paul took me to my favorite ice cream spot. We got our ice cream and he took me over to a bench in the courtyard across the street. We sat down and he turned to me with the ring in his hand and asked me to marry him. I said "YES" and my best friend popped out of the bushes, documenting the whole thing. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
