We met at the weekly fellowship hour at Olivia's church. Unknown to her at the time, Alex's priest, Fr. Vjekoslav had told him to travel down to Delaware from his home in Trevorton, PA to "meet this girl." Fr. V had known Olivia through the Diocesan summer camp program she volunteered at each summer, and knew that both Alex and Olivia were longing to find someone to share the Christian life with. Madrecita Emilia (Olivia's priest, Fr. Silouan's wife), introduced the nervous pair at fellowship hour after the Sunday service. They hit it off right away at fellowship hour, talking extensively about their shared interests and sharing a bit about their lives; Olivia elatedly related to her mom that evening that this "cute boy had asked for her phone number." Ever since that day, our relationship has grown into a joyful companionship that we are confident will last through this life, into eternity. We are ever-so-grateful to Fr. V for telling Alex to visit St. Michael's in Delaware that day. Most importantly, we praise God for his wondrous timing in every circumstance. "Every good and perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is neither variation nor shadow of turning." - James 1:17
