HER POV: Alex and I met through my sister, Vane. I knew Alex as Vane's high school friend. He would occasionally come around for family parties and events. At my sister's college graduation, Alex had the privilege of sitting next to me. Our side of the table was playing Skipbo when Alex placed a phone on my leg. I looked down at the phone, on the screen was a new contact page.. the name read "bae" :O (It is important to note, I was not just handing my phone number out to strangers lol) With a smile on my face I entered my number in his phone. Alex always had this essence about him, it was always calming and somehow felt like I had known him for a long time. When we first started dating Alex was very reserved and that meant I was the chatty one. Soon I would come to meet his funny and caring personality. Now Alex is my fiancé and my best friend, he is who brings peace to my day, and love to my life (as well as Froyo's life :)) HIS POV: Well, well, well. My turn. I have known Evelin (Vane) since high school, and pretty early on I knew about Norma. She claims she doesn't remember this but the first time we met was when Evelin and I had gone shopping with her other sister Brenda and Norma met us at Grapevine Mills. The interaction was brief but I remember asking more about her after we left. It wasn't until a couple years later, after many family parties and gatherings, that I finally mustered up the courage to ask for her number at Evelin's grad party, (pretty smoothly if I do say so myself). When I think back to what I would pray for at night, what I would wish for on my birthday, and what I hoped this life would grant me, I can say now that Norma is the embodiment of those things in every way. Getting to grow close to her selfness nature, caring personality, and her creative spirit has been the biggest blessing. I look forward to every tomorrow with her. She is my best friend, my #1 fan, and the love of my life. I love Froyo's mommy!
