FAQs

The Wedding Website of Nicole Lenia Kiser and Alexander Houlton
Please reach out to us personally if you have any questions at all! :)
Question

Where will we be staying?

Answer

The entire bridal party & their significant others will stay on site at the venue. We will let you know personally if you will be staying on site!

Question

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

Your presence is truly gift enough! Due to the logistics of our destination wedding, we are asking that no gifts be brought to the wedding. Should you still wish to get a contribute to our honeymoon fund, you can do so at the Registry tab at the top of the page. We are so thankful for you!

Question

How far away is the venue from Joshua Tree National Park?

Answer

The North Entrance to Joshua Tree National Park is only 20 minutes from the venue! We will be going there on Sunday to take more photos and hike around. It is an incredible, otherworldly landscape that you have to see while you’re out there! The entrance fee is $30 per vehicle, which is valid for 7 days. If you think you’ll be visiting other national parks soon, consider buying an America the Beautiful pass for $80, which allows free admission to all national parks for one calendar year. Things to do in Joshua Tree National Park include: Hidden Valley Nature Area - easy hiking loop in one of the most gorgeous areas of the park. We could spend all day walking around this area, along with the nearby Hidden Valley Campground and Outback Bouldering Area. Skull Rock - short walk to a cool rock formation Arch Rock - another easy trail to a unique formation Barker Dam + Wall Street Mill - easy hike to a dam where you may or may not find water. Keep an eye out for petroglyphs, and make a short detour to the Wall Street Mill, a defunct mining operation that feels like stepping back in time Keys View - viewpoint overlooking the Coachella Valley Cholla Cactus Garden - short walk through a natural garden where only Cholla cactus are growing Cottonwood Spring Oasis - if you have time, visit the Cottonwood Spring, an oasis at the far south side of the park

For all the days along the way
