As told by Nick: It was a dark and mysterious Halloween night in 2017 when my group of friends decided to venture out to one of Jax Beach’s most popular bars, Lynch’s Irish Pub. Adorned in a traditional Mexican cholo outfit, I set out to enjoy the night with my friends. As the band played, I looked over to my left to see a beautiful woman dressed in a pig onesie. Being the Cuban that I am (big pork guy) I knew I had to go talk to her. We found ourselves bonding over small talk and listening to the live music. I eventually asked Alex for her number and later that weekend I took her to Big Talbot Island for our first date. We had a great time and made our relationship official a few months later! We soon fell in love with each other (and it helped that her family and friends were absolutely amazing as well). I surprised Alex with a sunset proposal at Hanna Park Beach on New Years Eve 2020. Now, it’s time to tie the knot and have the biggest, most fun party of our lives with all the people we care about the most.

As told by Alex: Long story short... It was Halloween 2017 but it was a Tuesday night, so my friend and I (shoutout bridesmaid Ally) decided to be responsible teachers and go to a house party for a little. Nevertheless, we got FOMO and decided to stop by our favorite bar in Jax Beach, Lynch's Irish Pub. I was in a pig onesie, so I definitely wasn't planning on meeting a fella, but lo and behold, Nick found me and couldn’t resist! We had a great time together and enjoyed our first date at Big Talbot Island later that following weekend. A few months later, we made our relationship official and really began our journey. Over the next couple years, we continued to fall more and more in love with each other as we enjoyed amazing adventures, great memories, and MANY laughs. Fast forward to this past New Year’s Eve when Nick completely surprised me with a proposal on the beach at sunset- the most exciting moment ever! Now, we cannot wait to celebrate the start of our marriage with all of our amazing loved ones!!!
