On a Friday night during a nor'easter in early March, I met Nick for a drink at the restaurant where we had our first date back in April of 2014. Little did I know what he had in store for me that night! After we finished our drinks, we headed home (in separate cars) to get ready for a dinner we had planned. Nick sped off in front of me - I pulled into the driveway a few minutes after him and walked up to the house, frantically running through the rain, only to see him waiting on the porch for me. He reached for my hand and walked me into the house - this is when I knew SOMETHING was up - and lead me down a path of rose petals. There were candles lit spelling out "I love you" with roses and balloons everywhere! Here he popped the question, and I think at first I even forgot to answer because I was in such shock! Needless to say I was in tears, we were engaged, and I was so thrilled to call this man my fiance! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
