Nellye and I had our first date on July 19th, 2023. I picked her up from her place and we had dinner at Esther's Kitchen, one of my favorite "fancy" restaurants. Immediately I felt a connection and I think she did too. As the night progressed we realized not only were we attracted to each other but we were really enjoying our time together. After dinner we went to the Neon Museum. It was there under the neon lights that I knew I had found someone special. On our way out I took the picture below. She thought it was kind of strange but I knew something great was going to happen and I wanted to make sure I had that memory captured. From then on we spent more and more time together, ultimately I got to know her daughter, we moved into together, she became a mother figure for my son, and we continued to enjoy every moment we spent together. On Valentine's Day, I proposed and with tears in her eye's she happily accepted. Nellye y yo tuvimos nuestra primera cita el 19 de julio de 2023. La recogí de su casa y cenamos en Esther's Kitchen, uno de mis restaurantes "elegantes" favoritos. Inmediatamente sentí una conexión y creo que ella también. A medida que avanzaba la noche, nos dimos cuenta de que no solo nos atraíamos el uno al otro, sino que realmente estábamos disfrutando de nuestro tiempo juntos. Después de la cena fuimos al Museo del Neón. Fue allí bajo las luces de neón que supe que había encontrado a alguien especial. Al salir, tomé la foto de abajo. Ella pensó que era un poco extraño, pero yo sabía que algo grandioso iba a suceder y quería asegurarme de tener ese recuerdo capturado. A partir de entonces pasamos más y más tiempo juntos, al final conocí a su hija, nos mudamos juntos, se convirtió en una figura materna para mi hijo, y seguimos disfrutando cada momento que pasamos juntos. El día de San Valentín, le propuse matrimonio y con lágrimas en los ojos aceptó felizmente.
