When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with you, and we want to make sure we have everything ready for your arrival! Please RSVP by April 26th to confirm your attendance. Unfortunately, if we do not receive your RSVP by this date, we will not be able to accommodate you at the wedding. We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us finalize our plans for this special day.

Where/When is the Wedding?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with you! Here’s everything you need to know for the big day: Venue: The Farms at Woodend Spring 14100 Woodend Rd, Bonner Springs, KS 66012 Schedule: Ceremony: 5:00 PM Cocktail Hour: 5:45 PM (on the patio) Reception: 6:45 PM until 11:00 PM Everything will be held at the same location, so you won’t need to travel between venues. We can’t wait to share this day with all of you!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but please note that this will be an adults-only wedding. Children will only be allowed if their names are specifically listed on the invitation. We kindly ask that you make arrangements for childcare on the day of the wedding so that we can maintain the adult atmosphere of the event. We want to ensure that everyone can enjoy the celebration without distractions. Thank you so much for understanding and respecting this request.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We can’t wait to celebrate with you on our special day! To make this event as beautiful and elegant as possible, we kindly ask that guests follow the formal / cocktail attire dress code. For the ladies, we encourage elegant cocktail dresses, evening gowns, or chic formal wear—something that makes you feel fabulous and ready to celebrate with us! For the gentlemen, we suggest a sharp suit, tuxedo, or a tailored jacket and dress pants. Please note, this is a formal celebration, so we kindly request no casual wear, such as jeans, sneakers, or overly casual outfits. We want everyone to look and feel their best as we celebrate this momentous occasion in style. Thank you so much for helping us make this a truly elegant and memorable day. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone dressed to impress!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with you! To ensure everything runs smoothly, we kindly ask that you arrive at the ceremony venue by 4:15 PM, which is 45 minutes before the ceremony begins at 5:00 PM. Please refrain from arriving earlier than 4:15, and kindly ensure you are on time. Arriving on time will allow us to greet you, get settled, and ensure we start the ceremony promptly. We truly appreciate your punctuality and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Can I bring a date or a plus one?

Answer

Please note that plus ones are only allowed for guests whose invitations specifically include a plus one. If your invitation does not mention a plus one, we kindly ask that you attend solo. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, and we’re thrilled to have you be a part of this celebration!

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by the specified date, you will be marked as "not attending." We would love to celebrate with you, but in order to provide an exact guest count to our vendors, we cannot accept late RSVPs. Please note that if your RSVP is not received on time, we will not be able to accommodate you at the wedding. We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone who’s able to join us!

What color are the bridesmaids wearing?

Answer

Our beautiful bridesmaids will be wearing light blue dresses with florals, so we kindly ask that you refrain from wearing light blue to ensure they stand out on our special day. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to see all of you in your gorgeous attire!

What to do if I can't make it

Answer

If you're unable to attend, you will definitely be missed on our special day. Please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP as “Not Attending,” so we can plan accordingly. Thank you for understanding, and we truly hope to celebrate together in spirit!

Honeymoon Fund

Answer

As we’ve recently settled into our home and already have plenty of things, we kindly ask that you refrain from giving traditional gifts. Instead, if you’d like to give us something, we would be so grateful if you could contribute to our honeymoon fund. We’re planning a dream trip to Italy, and your contributions will help us with plane tickets, hotels, and activities that will make our trip even more special. All of the details can be found on our wedding registry, where you’ll find options to contribute to different aspects of our honeymoon. Your presence and love on our special day mean the world to us, and we couldn’t ask for anything more. Thank you for your kindness and generosity!

Are photos or videos allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

We want to ensure that everyone fully enjoys the ceremony without distractions. For this reason, our wedding ceremony will be unplugged—meaning no phones or cameras will be allowed during the ceremony. We kindly ask that you turn off your devices and refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony so that our photographer can capture the moments without interference. After the ceremony, we’ll be more than happy to take photos with you! Thank you for respecting this request and allowing us to fully enjoy this moment with you!

How come I didn't receive a save the date

Answer

How much of the wedding is outside?

Answer

We’re so excited to have you join us for our special day! The ceremony will be held outdoors at 5:00 PM, and we’re hoping for beautiful weather to celebrate under the open sky. By 5:45 PM, we’ll proceed to the cocktail hour on the patio. In the event that the weather does not cooperate, we’ll move the ceremony indoors, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed for a lovely outdoor celebration.

Can I post a picture of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We love that you’re excited to capture memories from our special day! However, we kindly ask that you please refrain from posting any pictures on social media on the day of the wedding. We’d love for you to enjoy the day fully and let us share our professional photos first. Feel free to share your pictures starting the day after the wedding, when we’ll be excited to see all the wonderful moments you captured! Thank you so much for respecting this request and helping make our day even more special!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, we’re excited to announce that there will be an open bar at the wedding! Get ready to celebrate, dance, and enjoy some delicious drinks with us as we create memories that will last a lifetime. That said, we kindly ask that everyone drink responsibly. If you are too intoxicated, the bartender will not be able to serve you. If you feel like you've had too much to drink, please consider arranging an Uber or another safe way to get home. We want everyone to enjoy the celebration and stay safe! We can’t wait to raise a glass and dance the night away with you!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We want to make sure everyone has a smooth experience getting to the venue! Parking will be available for all guests at the wedding location. If you’re unable to walk to the ceremony or reception area, we will have a golf cart available to help transport you comfortably. Please feel free to use the golf cart if needed, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about parking or accessibility! We look forward to seeing you there!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Please note that there will be no transportation provided from the hotel to the wedding venue. We kindly ask that you make your own arrangements to get to The Farms at Woodend Spring. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to celebrating with you!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make accommodations for you. We want everyone to enjoy the celebration comfortably and safely! Thank you for helping us ensure a wonderful experience for all.

Rehearsal Dinner

Answer

We will be having a rehearsal dinner on May 23rd, but please note that this event will be limited to a small group of select guests. If you are invited, it will be noted on your invitation. We hope you understand, and we are so grateful for your support as we prepare for our big day!

Is seating random?

Answer

For the ceremony, we will have a groom's side and a bride's side, so please feel free to choose the side that corresponds with your role in the celebration. For the reception, there will be assigned seating. Our staff will be available to guide you to your seats and ensure everything runs smoothly. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all and are so grateful for your presence!
