Natalie and Alex’s story began in 2019, on a fun night in Downtown Fargo. Natalie had just graduated from college but was still partying like she was in college with all her friends, and Alex was back in town for the offseason of his baseball career. They like to tell people that their meeting at Sports Bar was practically destiny—two 6ft+ tall people locking eyes over everyone else in the place. 😊 Not long after, Natalie made the move to St. Cloud for grad school, and Alex followed her. They moved in together, starting a new chapter in a new city. Their time in St. Cloud was full of memories, but in 2021, they knew it was time to return to Fargo. In the spring of 2022, they added a new member to their family: a bernedoodle puppy named JuCo. She quickly became the heart of their home, filling their lives with joy and so much love. The following year, in May 2023, Natalie and Alex took another big step—buying their first home together in Fargo. And true to their nature, they dove right into countless home projects, practically renovating the entire house themselves. Thanks to Alex's impressive DIY flooring skills, their house has transformed into a cozy, personalized home—and the projects never stop. Through the years, Natalie and Alex have shared a deep love for supporting each other’s passions. Natalie spends countless summer nights and weekends cheering (or being anxious) at Alex's baseball games, while Alex is always by Natalie’s side, encouraging her in her work and as she coaches volleyball. In January 2024, on the coldest day of the mildest Midwest winter, Alex proposed by the Red River, making a commitment to each other in a simple but perfect moment. Thanks to Natalie’s best friends, Alex surprised Natalie with a dinner at Mezzaluna, surrounded by their closest family and friends, to celebrate the start of their next chapter together. They couldn’t be more excited to take the next step in their story, surrounded by the love and support of their family and friends as they celebrate their marriage!
