IAH is Houston's main/huge airport. Its about 45 minutes away depending on traffic. If your airline preference is United, you will fly into IAH.

Southwest Airlines only flies out of Hobby. It is also much smaller, which a lot of people prefer. Unfortunately, its also annoyingly far away.
