When do we need to RSVP by?

Answer

We would request that RSVPs be completed by June 30, 2025.

Do we have to answer all of those questions right away?

Answer

No, they can be edited and added afterwards. Just RSVP whenever you can and we would be happy to talk with you about the other stuff after.

What is the deal with alcohol/drugs?

Answer

We have decided to have a sober wedding until 9pm when the children and anyone else that wants to have had a chance to head out. We want everyone to be able to enjoy our wedding day and most of the festivities without being uncomfortable. After 9pm there will be a toonie bar available. We are planning on going with the basics but if you have any special requests, we would be happy to hear them and we will try to accommodate. There will also be a cannabis bar provided but it will not be brought out until all minors have left the premises. Only legal substances are permitted at the venue and all alcohol must be served through our bartenders. You are welcome to bring your own cannabis products and there are ash cans provided throughout the venue.

What is expected for gifts?

Answer

There is no expectation for you to give us anything other than your presence at our special day! We will be providing a registry, card box, and ability to coordinate cash gifts for anyone that decides that they would like to give us something. Any money received will be used for moving into our next home.

How will we know where to sit?

Answer

There will be a seating chart provided for inside the barn but for the ceremony, please sit anywhere that isn't labelled as reserved.

What is the plan for transportation?

Answer

There is parking available on site for the ceremony/reception. If enough people are staying in or coming from Wetaskiwin, we may look at booking transportation for the end of the night. Please let us know where you are staying and we will update this answer as the day moves closer.

What is the plan for childcare?

Answer

We are unable to provide childcare but would be happy to help figure out a plan if you are bringing your kiddos but want to stay for the party. We will update this as we move closer to the date as well.

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

You are welcome to wear whatever shoes feel most comfortable for you. This venue is primarily outside so skinny heals are not recommended. If you're feeling unsure, let us know and we can help you decide.

Can we take pictures?

Answer

You are not only welcome to but very much encouraged to take photos throughout the event. There will be something made available to have all of the pictures in once place, and we are considering having a surprise or two as well.
