The Wedding Website of molly wagner and alex pfluger
PLEASE READ! We've learned a few helpful things along the way and have tried to include that information here. We will continue to update as we see necessary. Please read through the FAQs listed. If you have any questions other than what we have listed, feel free to reach out to either of us! Cheers!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than August 31, 2019.

Question

Can (Insert Name Here) come?

Answer

We are only allotted a specific number of guests & support staff at our venue. We need to abide in order to be respectful of the venue owners, their neighbors, and the delicate ecosystem around us. This is VERY important to us. The number of guests invited in your party is listed on your RSVP page on this site. If you would like additional people to join you on your trip (say an old friend that we don't know), they are absolutely more than welcome to travel with you. However, they are not invited to our wedding ceremony and reception. It is very important to us that we get to celebrate with our family members and those who know us best. Thank you for understanding.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm sharp. That being said, doors will open at 4:15 pm (we encourage everyone to try and be here near this time).

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and button downs with slacks. It's the desert so feel free to get a little funky. Don't forget to bring an extra layer for when the sun goes down.

Question

Will the reception be at the same location as the ceremony?

Answer

Yup! This is a one stop shop. Both the ceremony and reception will be at Tumbleweed Sanctuary.

Question

Are both the wedding and reception going to be outdoors?

Answer

Yes! In November, the days can be warm and the nights will be pretty cold. Bring a few warm layers for when the sun goes down. In the rare instance that it decides to rain (a desert miracle!), we have the option to move everything inside.

Question

How should I get to the wedding location?

Answer

There is ample parking at the venue itself - just look for the parking attendant when you arrive. If you're able to, we recommend carpooling. This cuts down on the number of cars and people needed to drive / DD. There is no shuttle service. Also, Joshua Tree is a small, desert town with barely any Ubers/Lyfts (and sometimes none at all).

Question

So... open bar?

Answer

Yup! Tipping the bartender is appreciated.

Question

What about lodging?

Answer

October and November are busy season for the high desert. So, things can book up quickly. We recommend booking lodging as soon as you are certain you can attend. Visit the Travel & Lodging page for more info.
