Alexandra & Michael

Alex and Mikey met way back in 2008 working summer jobs at Bernie’s. Though they went off to different colleges that fall, they stayed friends and always reconnected during summer breaks. 

Fast forward to their 20s—they found out they were neighbors in Chicago’s South Loop and started hanging out occasionally until life got busy and they lost touch once more.

Then came June 25th, 2022. Both Alex and Mikey happened to be at the Kenny Chesney concert—each with separate groups of friends—when they unexpectedly bumped into each other near the bathrooms. In true Alex fashion, she made the first move, insisting that Mikey come find her during “American Kids” so they could dance. Right as the song began, Mikey made it to her section. They danced and spent the remainder of the night together.

The rest is history!
