With the ensuing pandemic making headlines in March of 2020, Alex and Mike made the decision to get married at the courthouse in Jefferson, Louisiana on Friday March 13th, 2020. In the waiting room that fateful afternoon, a pair of bounty hunters waiting on some much-needed permits gave the soon-to-be newlyweds a piece of unsolicited advice they will never forget: "To get blood out of a leather jacket, use 4:1 ratio of water to bleach." Romance was truly everywhere. We pushed our wedding date back from August 15th, 2020 to March 13th 2021 in May of last year, mere weeks before our venue sadly went out of business. Many months and a few vaccinations later, and we are finally rescheduling! If we can spend our first year of marital bliss locked in a house together and come out of it still in love as we are, that's certainly something worth celebrating. Please join us for a brief, casual ceremony led by our dear friend, William Mount, followed by some food, tasty treats baked by friends, and music provided by local Columbus musicians we admire. Your vaccinated & healthy presence is a present, and if you're so inclined there is a Registry tab you can visit! Please RSVP to lounauman@gmail.com by September 12th, 2021.
