It’s a little different describing yourself, but here goes nothing... Everyone that knows me knows I have a huge heart. I have a huge heart and arms wide open for our Lord and Savior. He is my everything. I have a heart for children/ kids. Little babies, toddlers, and kids are my life. I have a full time job babysitting my sweet “little sisters” Lyla and Lily Lockwood. I never meet a stranger, and I can really never stay mad at anyone for a long period of time.. I have two wonderful parents, that mean the absolute world to me, and I could not even think about replacing them if I tried. I have three brothers, and no sisters.. Being the only girl has it’s perks, but also was a total night mare when I was little lol. I also have one nephew, and three nieces, and they mean everything to me..

Micah, Micah, Micah.. Micah has a heart of gold. He has a passion for the Lord, and it gets bigger and bigger day by day. He plays the drums in the church band. Me, and the whole church thinks he should step up and sing too. Lol. Just nitpicking at him. Micah loves to golf, play guitar, sing, and hunt almost anything. His personality is something else. There’s not anyone he can be around and not make laugh. He’s constantly cracking jokes. If you’re around him, and you happen to not know him.. You’ll know him before the nights over with, and he will have you belly laughing so hard it hurts. He doesn’t meet a stranger either.
Kelly Smith
Matron of Honor
Kelly is the brides sister-in-law. Kelly has always been the big sister I’ve been we had since the day I met her. She is a preachers wife, and a wonderful Mommy to my beautiful nieces and nephew. She’s the best thing that could’ve ever happened to my oldest brother. Kelly has been my encourager, run to- go to, advice giver, shoulder to cry on, the person to straighten me back up when I get out of line, and my best friend all in one. Kelly has a sense of humor anyone in the world would love to have. You never know if she’s being serious or not. Most of the time she’s cracking jokes, and just filling the room she’s in with all things happiness.
Seth Dodd
Best Man
Seth is the grooms big brother, and best friend. If you ever happened to need him, your best bet is to catch him on the golf course, or on the water at the lake. Ever since i’ve been around Micah and Seth, Micah has looked up to Seth for almost everything. Seth is Micah’s role model. Seth has a heart of gold, and uses it everyday. I don’t think in the whole year I’ve been around I’ve ever seen Seth actually get mad.. I’m beginning to wander if it’s possible, lol. Seth has a beautiful girlfriend, Madi. She’s pretty great too! We will get to her in a few!
Raven White

Raven is 20. She has the sweetest boyfriend, Jordan. The bride and groom have grown even closer to these two in the past few months. She is a life long friend of the bride, a best friend. She has the purest soul and a heart of gold. I’ve only known Raven since 2010. But time is no limit on a true friend, more of a sister like her, right? Raven is NOT afraid to tell you how it is and put you in your place. Raven has a desire to help people in any way she can, and with that she is in nursing school at NACC, and one day soon will graduate and become a very good nurse. I’d be lucky to have her as mine!
Joey Smith

Joey is 29. He is the oldest brother of the bride. He is married to the Matron of Honor, Kelly. Joey has a handsome 9 year old son, and three beautiful daughters. He is a United Methodist preacher, along with our father. His love for the Lord is indescribable. Joey loves everything about comics. He’s one of the biggest avenger fans I know. He also has his own comic book store.
Madi Clark

Madi is 20. Madi is the girlfriend of the best man, Seth. Madi is currently in school to become a teacher. Madi has a love for the beach, lake, shopping, soccer, her nephew(and soon to be niece), her family, and anything to do with being in the sun. Madi has a wild free spirit about her. She never cares what others think, and she’s always happy go lucky. Like Seth, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Madi mad. If she’s ever been mad around me, she’s hid it really well, lol.
Zac (Noodle) Owen

Zac is 20 years old. Zac is one of the grooms best friends. They have been friends every since they were little. They are more like family then friends. Zac is just plum goofy. There’s not a serious side about him. He’s constantly joking around, or laughing. He likes to hunt, and spend time with his family... until its bed time, then during family game night he’ll sneak away and not tell anyone lol. PS: If you ever have to ride with Zac, be prepared to hold on while he drives on the wrong side of the interstate and not even realizing it.
Ellee Blevins

Ellee is 20 years old. She is married to Kade Blevins. She works at a bank in Valley Head. She has a love for dogs! Ellee and Lade have two puppy’s, Sadie and Bo. Ellee and I have grown our relationship/ friendship over the past two years. Ellee is like a sister to me. We even have gotten asked millions of time of we really are sisters, I guess we look alike, but I don’t see it, haha. She has put me in my place a few time, and I’ve put her in hers. Ellee and I met at the movies in Fort Payne under some rough circumstances, but God works in mysterious ways, and I believe our friendships what was suppose to come out of that night!!
Seth Butler

Seth is 20 years old. Seth has been a fiend of the bride and groom for a few years now. He has a beautiful girlfriend, Kaylie. Seth is apart of the Dekalb County Sheriffs Department. Seth has a love for helping people in any way he can, and if you’re e we around him, that’s the first thing you’ll notice... Well besides him talking so fast, and I mean fast, lol.
Emma King

Emma is 20 years old. She just recently got married herself, to the lucky, Donovan King. Emma currently works at the Chick- Fil- A in FP. Emma has been friends with the bride since 9th grade, 2013.. She is the granddaughter of Teddy Gentry out of the country singing group, Alabama. She is the sweetest girl to be around. She has became apart and stayed apart of my family’s family for a few years now. She has a huge passion for our Lord also, and she shows it through her everyday life.
Colt Buttram

Colt is one of the grooms older cousins, a role model for him. Micah has often tells me he hopes he is half the man Colt is one day. He has a beautiful wife, MaKenzie. Colt has a huge passion and heart for the lord, and can sing too!! Colt is the lead worship song at The Church of the Highlands, in Huntsville.
Allie Burt

Allie is 20 years old. Allie has a beautiful baby girl, Gracey Mae, and fiancé Mason. Allie has been one the brides best friends since 2010. We have often gotten mistaken for sisters, and we may have often fibbed and tricked people into believing we were, especially in school lol. We met in one of our classes in 7th grade, and have stuck like glue to each other on the hip every since. She’s has spent many night with the bride, and have become one of the brides parents other children, along with Raven and Emma. Allie loves makeup, and loves doing hair. There has been many times I looked rough at school and Allie has fixed me up, even if I didn’t want her too, lol.
Donovan King

Donovan is 21. He is a friend of both, bride and groom. He is married to one of the bridesmaids, Emma. He is a truck driver/ mail deliverer for UPS. Micah and Donovan have gotten closer over the past few months from building Emma and Donovan’s house. They seemed to hit it off from the start, and grow closer each day. In my eyes, they help keep each other on the right path for God, and are great friends to one another. Being Micah’s future wife, I couldn’t ask for a better friend for him.

Haven is married to Raven Brown. Haven and Raven are really good friends with the bride. I often introduce them as my big brother and sister. They have 2 beautiful children. One boy(Caden) and one baby girl(Ruthie). They are the cutest kids ever. Haven is a full time mommy, and does a pretty great job at it. We met a few years back through her sister, Caitlyn and we’ve been close friends every since.
Jordan Bethune

Jordan is like a big brother to the groom. Jordan is married to sweet Nicole. They have a little girl, Olivia. Micah has grown up watch Jordan and his brother, Seth play any kind of sport. Micah has known Jordan since he was little bitty, and had always looked up to him as a mentor. Jordan is our pastors son, and head children’s director at church. He likes to golf, coon hunt, be in church, and he loves his family, and Jesus more than anything.
Talula Belle Scott

Talula is 14. She is like my little sister. I have watched her grow up and become the young lady she is today. She loves to cheer, play golf, spend time with her friends, and learn new things. She is more mature than anyone her age. She acts like, has all the thoughts, advice and problem solving like a 20 year old. It has been an amazing journey with her, watching her grow up, and try her best to become more like God everyday. And now her and I are trying to teach her sister the same things I taught her, being a role model for her.
Mason Williamson

Mason is one of the grooms good friends! Mason is Allie’s husband, and Gracey Mae’s father. Micah, Allie, Mason, and I have grown a friendship together as a group here in the past few months. I’ve been close to them for years now, but they have willingly and openly loved and cared for Micah like I have. We’ve all grown friendships that no one could ever replace. Mason loves his mustangs. If you ever wanna ride sitting on the road(not really, but legitimately) with sparks flying from the car sitting that low, he’s your guy. If you ever want busted out ear drums from revving the engine in mustangs, or any type of loud car, truck, or whatever it may be, he’s your guy!
Kaleb Smith

Kaleb is 9. He is the brides one and only nephew. He is the one that made her an Aunt for the very first time. I have loved watching him grow up into the young boy he is. He has a wild and crazy personality. He loves the Lord, and isn’t afraid to sing Christian songs to the top of his lungs in the car. He’s pretty good, to me, if I must say. He can switch from funny, goofy, to mad in literally three seconds. Kaleb has a huge love for his three little sisters. He wouldn’t ever let anything happen to him. I would almost say he’s “over protective” but you can’t be over protective of three of the cutest little girls in the world! He has a love, just like his dad, for anything adventure related. He is always saying he wants to grow up and be a Pastor just like his daddy, and a police officer.

Ava is 8 years old. She is the brides oldest niece. Ava is miss sassy. She has a sassy personality, just like her sisters. She is also legally blind.. BUT, if I wouldn’t have told you, you would not have noticed. She has grown up, and never known any different and learned to live with it, and it shows in her everyday life. It doesn’t even phase her. She loves her some babies dolls, barbies, and playing “school”. She the BIG sister so she’s always trying to take care of her little sisters, and of course fighting and arguing with her big brother, lol.

Savy is 7 years old, will be 8 in September. Savy was one of the very first babies the bride got to babysit. She’s more of a little sister to the bride. I have watched Savy grow from the tummy, to the almost 8 year old she is. She has a personality of a clown. There’s not a minute gone by I’m not laughing when I’m with her. She loves everything bows.. Especially jojo bows! I could probably count on 3 fingers on how many times I’ve seen her without one in. She has a passion for dance, soccer, and swimming in her pool at home. She is the youngest of three siblings, and is one of the sweetest little girls you’ll meet.. Well, on her good days of course, lol.

Anna Grace is one of the brides youngest nieces. She is 3! She has never met a stranger. She has the bubbliest personality I think I’ve ever seen in someone. She doesn’t care who’s around, she’s gonna be the star of the show. If you don’t believe me, you’ll see on our wedding day, lol. She keeps us on our hands and toes constantly. She’s not afraid to try to do something new.. and this girl, this girl can eat!! She will literally eat anything given to her. You can sneak a snack or a meal without her missing any of it. Oh and to all my family.. PS: you so schute

Lyla Grayson is 4 years old. She is currently the oldest toddler the bride is babysitting full time right now. Her and her sister call me “Big Sissy”, and that couldn’t even describe the love or relationships I have for/ with these sweet babies. I feel as another family member in their sweet family. They are the little sisters I never had. I have been with Lyla and her sister Lily, who you’ll meet next, for almost 2 years now. I have watched Lyla grow since she was just 2 years old. Our bond started building in the nursery at church, and she’s been attached at my hip every since.

Lily Quinn is 2 years old. She my blonde curly headed “little sister”. She’s got the personality of a sour patch kid. She’s sour, then she’s sweet! I have watched her grow from just barley learning to crawl, to running on her top toes every where she goes, and to constantly talking your ears off. She’s had the sweetest soul, and sweetest personality, B but that can change when Mommy walks in the room, and it usually does lol. She’ll get whiny and emotional, but sometimes it’s hair so darn cute. She loves her icky slime, baby dolls, swimming in the pool, playing in the sand, her big sister, and her doggy’s.

Ricky is the Father of the Bride. Dad is a United Methodist pastor. He is currently the Senior Pastor at Guntersville First UMC. My dad has 3 boys. I am his only daughter. Daddy’s princess. I have always called myself a Daddy’s girl, but I’m a mommas girls too. My dad is a hard working man. He works 24/7. He’s never “off work”. He is the best man I know. He’s love for Jesus Christ is indescribable, it grows stronger and stronger by the minute. He has taught me so much over the years. Most everything I know how to cook, I got from him. He’s taught me how how to build/ make/ and keep flower beds up and going. My dad gave me the love I have for fishing, being in the ocean(even if I do itch after stepping foot in it), and being on the lake.. My daddy is the best!
Nona Smith

Nona is the brides Mom. My mom is 1 of 7 kids. She has an incredible heart for the Lord also. It grows day after day, and I see the Lord in her 24/7. She has a heart just like her momma(my Nanny did). She loves people with her whole heart. She cares for people deeply. There’s not a person she comes in contact with, or a person that knows her that could say differently. She has a huge caring heart, and when I see her love and care, I see my Nanny in her.. my mom has also helped form my love for fishing. Every since I was little, I’d try and beat the boys to mom rod first to take the fish off the hook for her(she won’t touch them, she hates the smell), or Id run and try to beat them to put the worms, or minnows on her hook for her! I can’t lie when I say I get my “being a tomboy” from her.

Tony is the Grooms dad. Tony has a huge heart for the Lord. He is the head worship leader at our church. Oh and man can he sing and play the guitar like a BOSS! He owns his own construction business, and has built countless beautiful houses. He likes the lake, the beach. college football, golfing, and baseball and working anytime he can.
Teresa Dodd
Mother of the Groom
Teresa is the grooms mom. Teresa has a heart for the Lord and she shows it daily. She is a cosmetologist and has been doing it for many years now. She is a big part of why I have falling in love with doing make up and hair, watching her do it for the past year I’ve been apart of their family. She has many many happy clients. She has a heart for helping and caring for people also. I don’t think there’s one person in Fort Payne she doesn’t know, she hasn’t helped, and so on. I’m blessed to have her has my future Mother-In-Law.
