Is there a deadline to RSVP?
Answer
Yes, please RSVP by June 15th, on our Zola website where you will find your name. If you do not RSVP in time we will assume you are unable to attend, and you will automatically be marked as “Not Attending.” We will miss celebrating with you, but it is imperative we provide our vendors with final guest counts within the timeframe they have given us. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids invited? Can I bring a Plus One?

Our wedding is an adult-only (18+) event. Due to the venue's maximum guest limit, we cannot accommodate children or plus ones; only the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated.

What time should I arrive at Stony Woods Estate?
Answer
Please plan on arriving around 4:30 p.m. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 p.m. Stony Woods Estate is located at 700 Stony Woods Cir, Marshall, NC 28753. Please note that the villa is located on the top of the property, so it may take 5 minutes to drive through the property. Plan accordingly so you get there well before the start of the ceremony.

Can I rent a room at the property?

Yes! There are several luxury treehouses located on the property that are available for wedding guests to reserve (website link is located on Travel tab). Contact the venue owner, Kim, by phone (828)-649-5772 or email - info@stonywoods.com and tell her that you will be attending Micaela and Alex's wedding and are interested in booking a treehouse. You will not be able to book online because the dates are blocked off for our guests. There are only a few, so book soon!

What should I wear?
Answer
The event is semi-formal. You want to dress in a way that is more elegant than casual but not as formal as black-tie or cocktail attire. Some potential options are cocktail or mid-length dresses, dressy separates, or a suit and tie. Please note that the wedding will take place outdside, and there will be grass, so please plan accordingly.

The ceremony will take place outdoors, and the reception and dinner will take place in a covered tent.

What is the approximate timeline?
Answer
Please arrive at 4:30 p.m. The ceremony will be from 5:00 - 5:30 p.m. The reception will be from 5:30-10:00 p.m. Night owls are welcome to join us for an afterparty. We must turn off the main speakers at 10:00 p.m., but we will continue to play music on Bluetooth speakers.
