What Covid Safety Precautions Will There Be?

Answer

Masks will be required at all times except when eating and drinking. The dinner buffet will be served by masked staff so serving utensils will not be shared. We recommend rapid testing before attending the wedding as an added precaution.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP on this website! Just head over to the RSVP page and you can check in for yourself and your party members. You can also list any dietary needs and a song request for the DJ!

Will there be a rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Yes! We will have an invitation only rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding.

What should I wear?

Answer

The wedding is a semiformal event with a warm and moody feel. Our wedding colors are Hunter Green, Gold, and Black. We would love for you to match our colors, but it’s definitely not required! Please avoid wearing white, cream, ivory, champagne, etc.

Will the wedding be indoors or outside?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be indoors. If the weather is nice we will have an outdoor cocktail hour and yard games!

Is there onsite parking?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of on-site parking at the venue. The parking lot is gravel, and there is a drop off area right at the front door for easy access to the building.

Will there be a reception dinner?

Answer

Yes! We have an amazing local caterer preparing a wonderful buffet for us. In addition to the regular menu, there will be gluten free, dairy free, nut free, and vegan options available. You will be able to specify any dietary needs or preferences when you RSVP.

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have a cash bar available for cocktail hour and the reception. Per our venue’s bar license, only alcohol purchased on the property may be consumed. Please do not bring outside alcohol to the venue.

Where is the venue located?

Answer

The Heartland Lodge is in Kingsville, Missouri. It is located just South of Lee’s Summit out in the country.

Is the venue ADA accessible?

Answer

Yes!! The entire venue is one story, so there are no stairs!
