Q&A

"There are years that ask questions and years that answer." - Zora Nealle Hurston, Their Eyes were Watching God
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes and no. We want you to look your best, but be comfortable enough for some dancing fun! All we ask is no jeans and no sneakers. And YES, you can wear your cowboy boots!

Question

Is the Mass in English or Spanish?

Answer

Both! Since most of my family speaks English, and most of Max's family speaks Spanish, our Priest will be holding our ceremony in both.

Question

Should I RSVP? and by when should I do so?

Answer

Yes, please RSVP. It helps us figure out how many people we need to accommodate at the venue. Please do so no later than October 1, 2025.

Question

I got my invitation. How many people can I bring with me?

Answer

Please just invite those in your household. While we would love to have as many family and friends present as possible, we are limited by the venue. We took into account every person of every household in our head count, and would appreciate it if guests didn't invite anyone extra.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Of course! Our babies will be there, ready to party it up! There will be optional onsite childcare (12 years and under) provided for a max of 50 children, so please RSVP if you would like to use this option. Also, please take note that care is only available from 7 pm to 11 pm. When you RSVP for childcare, please just RSVP for your child(ren), not yourself or any other adults. We will not allow in any children into the designated childcare area unless you RSVP or if we have extra room.

Question

Are you serving food at the reception?

Answer

Yes! We will have a buffet set up to eat from 6pm-7:30pm. We will also have Pizza for those picky eaters and little tummies. It will be on a first come, first serve basis, so make sure to be on time!

Question

Will there be alcohol at the reception?

Answer

Heck ya! We will have an open bar through the night serving beer and simple mixed drinks. We will also have non-alcoholic options through the night. Please remember to bring IDs as we will have bartenders checking. Additionally, we want to have fun, but we don't want it to get out of control. That being said, we will ask bartenders to cut off anyone who is acting unruly. We may also ask you to be escorted off of the premises, which we hope we won't need to do. So let's just have fun and be smart!

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Nope. We already have everything we need! However, if you are feeling gracious enough to gift us anything, a donation to our honeymoon fund would be greatly appreciated! And bring your Dollar bills for the Dollar Dance!

Question

If i have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?

Answer

You can contact me, Alex, at 915-630-7656 or Max at 214-663-0824. Texting is preferred!
