Please feel free to email us at MauraLYanes@gmail.com and we promise we will get back to you as soon as we can!
While we love your kiddos, for our wedding only children related to either one of us will be in attendance. We encourage you guys to use today as date night!
We wish we could acommodate everyone we wished to have at our wedding, but unfortunately that is not a case. If you have been allotted a plus one, you will find that on your invitation envelope and will be able to RSVP for you and your plus one on our website. Thank you for understanding!
We love our dog Pancake and our cat Luna very dearly, and while we wish we could involve them in the wedding, Luna is simply too much of a scaredy cat, and Pancake's only desire is really to be the center of attention and wait until everyones guard is down just long enough to steal food from peoples plates. So they will sadly not be involved and instead be at home snoozing the night away or committing crimes together for us to discover later.
We highly recommend getting an earlier start to head over as ferries tend to fill up fast on weekends, the easiest way to get to Port Gamble is via ferry either out of Seattle to Bainbridge and then drive up or via the Edmonds ferry to Kingston and then driving over. If you're departing from Seattle, you can take the Seattle to Bainbridge Island ferry, you can find the ferry schedule at https://wsdot.com/ferries/Schedule/ScheduleDetail.aspx?departingterm=7&arrivingterm=3&roundtrip=true. Please note that it takes about 30 minutes once you disembark in Bainbridge to drive to our venue in Port Gamble. Alternatively if you're further north, you can take the Kingston ferry from Edmonds to Kingston. You can find the schedule for this ferry at https://wsdot.com/ferries/schedule/scheduledetailbyroute.aspx?route=ed-king. Please note that it takes about 15 minutes after disembarking the Kingston Ferry to drive to our venue in Port Gamble.
There is a single road through Port Gamble, we promise you can't miss the venue! There will be signs to show you the way and there are parking lots both for St. Paul's Church where the ceremony will be held and at the Hood Canal Vista Pavillion, where the cocktail hour and Reception will be heald.
Our reception ends at 9PM as we need to do take down of decorations and put tables and chairs away. While we hope you stay for the entire time we understand everyone has things they need to do and some people (Maura) usually have a bedtime of like 9PM and might get tired. We highly encourage everyone to make sure they know what time their ferries are departing and plan accordingly.
We highly recommend staying in Bremerton or Silverdale and driving over or carpooling to the ceremony and reception. There is a Best Western, Oxford Suites, Quality Inn and other hotels in Silverdale (Please see links below for booking) as well as the option to book an Airbnb if that's more your speed! https://www.bestwestern.com/en_US/book/hotels-in-silverdale/best-western-plus-silverdale-beach-hotel/propertyCode.48174.html https://www.oxfordcollection.com/hotels/suites-silverdale?utm_source=extnet&utm_medium=yext https://www.choicehotels.com/washington/silverdale/quality-inn-hotels/wa335
Our dress code is Festive Garden Party! Please feel free to wear your cute sundresses, cocktail dresses, linen jackets, sport coats, slacks etc...
