Our story began at the start of 2023, when I was studying at Gonzaga University for my bachelor’s degree, and Alex was starting her career as a personal trainer at the gym where I also spent a lot of my free time. Some mutual friends had pointed me out to Alex, which prompted her to make the first move… We hit it off instantly, and shortly after came our first dates. We bonded over our shared sense of humor, values, and playful personalities, along with a mutual drive to push each other to be the best versions of ourselves. We were inseparable from those first few dates, spending as much time together as we could—even if it meant four-hour gym sessions waiting for Alex to clock off, or simply being together while working on homework or our jobs separately. Over the past three years, we have grown alongside each other through some of life’s biggest milestones. Since we got together, I’ve graduated with my bachelor’s and master’s degrees while pursuing a career in healthcare leadership and management. Alex has built an exciting career of her own, becoming a certified Pilates instructor, continuing personal training, and starting her own LLC. We’ve been so grateful to be each other’s support system along the way. On November 1, 2025, I proposed to Alex on a beautiful beach at sunset in Los Cabos, Mexico. We couldn’t be more excited to enter this next chapter as husband and wife!
