Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 5 pm. Please arrive around 4:30 pm to mingle and get settled.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

This event is semi-formal. Please keep in mind there will be grass for both the reception and ceremony, so wear shoes accordingly. Women: Tea-length, below-the-knee, or long dresses are perfect. Dressy jumpsuits are also welcome. Men: Suit and tie or dress slacks with a blazer.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are plenty of great accommodation options in Sarasota and Longboat Key! Besides the Longboat Key Club, we recommend checking out The Westin, Art Ovation, Embassy Suites, and Zota Beach Resort. For more budget-friendly choices, we also suggest exploring Airbnb or VRBO.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

There is a welcome party for all guests on Friday, April 17th from 8-10pm at Michaels on East. Please see the 'Schedule' tab for more information.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be transportation from the South Lawn (ceremony) to the Harbourside Lawn (dinner & reception), along with transportation back from Harbourside Lawn to the Long Boat Key Club.
