North Carolina Museum of Art
One of our favorite places to go together, alone, or with friends and their puppies! They have a beautiful indoor and outdoor exhibit and is one of the premier art museums in the South.
Drive Shack
An interactive driving range that caters to big groups. *Heads up, wait times can get pretty long, but luckily they have a bar/restaurant in the building to pass the time! You can also reserve a bay in advance if you already know what day/time you intend to go.
William B. Umstead State Park
Umstead Park is a beautiful state park that covers 5,000+ acres and offers bike trails, boat rentals, and picnic areas.

Our favorite ice cream spot of all time! Solid vegan options.
Morning Times
Downtown coffee shop with breakfast & lunch great for early risers. The line gets long since the downstairs space is small, but it moves quickly! Seating upstairs and lots of outdoor seating.
A Place at the Table
Cafe that provides healthy food for all regardless of means. Pay the suggested price, more/less than suggested, or volunteer to pay for your meal! Proceeds are poured back into the cafe to fight food insecurity in our community.
Sushi Blues Cafe
Yummy downtown sushi spot with nice outdoor seating.
Vic's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria
Our favorite Italian place - we usually go to the one on Lake Boone Trail, but this one is right by our venue!
Morgan Street Food Hall
Group can't decide where to go? Everyone can find something here :) they also have axe throwing! Matt loves The Katsu, and Alex loves The Bowls and Bad Cat Coffee, Crepes, & Bagels (they have the best iced chai in town)!
Boxcar Bar + Arcade
If you loved arcades as a kid, you'll love them even more with a drink in your hand.
The Avenue Raleigh
Fun bar with lots of outdoor space, cozy couches, games, and gigantic chess. Walking distance to several other bars if you're interested in bar hopping!
Watts & Ward
Modern 1920's speakeasy bar. Several rooms with different vibes and a great outdoor space that occasionally has live music! *Please note: not disability friendly. Must walk down flight of stairs to this basement bar.
