If you are looking for a more upbeat and lively hotel experience, we recommend looking for hotels on Collins Ave between 15th and 22nd street (we wouldn't recommend staying anywhere between 5th and 15th street). The Shelbourne or the Nautilus are great places to start, but there are tons of other options in this area. Alternatively, a little more north are the Eden Roc and The Confidante which have a nice resort feel as well.

Alternatively, Airbnb can be a great, more affordable option as well. We just recommend avoiding anywhere between 5th and 15th street on Collins Ave, Washington Ave or Ocean Drive.
