If you fancy flying to the wedding, there are a few airports in Michigan to pick from: Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Muskegon are probably the best. The largest airport by far is Detroit (DTW) - however, Detroit is about a 4 hour drive from Ludington. Grand Rapids (GRR) is the next largest and is 1.5 hours away. Muskegon (MKG) is the smallest, about an hour away, and flights to MKG tend to get pricey quickly.

The S.S. Badger Car Ferry

The Badger Car Ferry can be a nice way to avoid Chicago traffic and get you straight to your final destination! Running twice daily across Lake Michigan, the Badger connects Manitowoc, WI and Ludington, MI with a 4hr Ferry ride. This could be a great way to carpool to the wedding as riders may leave their vehicles at the car parks and group together in one vehicle to take on the ferry. We are working on securing a group rate for the weekend of the wedding and will update with more information when we have it.
