Both of us, freshly single, decided to take a gamble and download a dating app called Hinge. We matched! The conversation was effortless and the cheesy pick up lines were endless. On November 20th, 2019 we decided to meet in person at one of Malloy's favorite sushi spots where we sat for 3 hours; talking, laughing, and enjoying the easiness of each others company.

After nearly 5 years together, Alex proposed on the (very early) morning of Tuesday, September 17th, 2024. We had taken a trip to our good friends family cabin in New Hampshire and decided to watch a sunrise together on the dock. Sitting there, coffee in hand, waiting for the sun to crest the mountains, Alex pulled out a ring and popped the question, much to Malloy's surprise!
