Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

It's important to remember that we have a rather small venue but so many people we couldn't imagine this day without, so don't take it personally if you are not afforded a plus one. Check the online RSVP or address line on the envelope you received the invitation in for the answer to this question. If you are given a plus one, you will be prompted to include guest information. We know that there are two lines on the RSVP card, this is because it is a generic RSVP card that everyone was given. To best clear up any questions, check out the online RSVP or reach out to the bride/groom directly. We're happy to answer any questions.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love kids and we probably love your kids even more, but we thought this would be a great time for them to get a break from their parents and have a kids night out. We know that traveling all the way to D.C. is a great opportunity for a family trip, and finding a babysitter in a new place can be a little unnerving. Don't worry- For more information on a reputable nanny service in the area, click the following link: https://www.whitehousenannies.com/

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black tie optional/ formal. Formal cocktail attire is also acceptable.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Seating begins at 4:00 p.m. p.m. and the ceremony is scheduled to begin promptly at 4:30 p.m.. Please be mindful that it is a Friday afternoon in downtown Washington D.C.. Unfortunately, there is limited parking available near the venue (which has no parking of its own) and traffic will be bustling. Be sure to account for the travel time and conditions.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Check out our "Travel" link for more information about our hotel blocks, be sure to read the hotel/block descriptions entirely to make sure you get the special discounted rate. Also, feel free to check out other hotels and air bnb options too. There are tons of lodging options both in- and out- side of the city.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes please! We want to make sure everyone can enjoy a great meal. You will be prompted when RSVPing online to provide that information. If you are not using the online RSVP option, please RSVP using the card insert from your invitation and make a note to let us know of any allergies we need to consider.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Question
