The dress code is Dressy Casual Attire. For the beautiful month of April, may we suggest the following attire: Men: We suggest that men wear a dress shirt in any color and a jacket with dressy slacks: tie optional Women: We suggest women wear a cocktail dress or dressy separates with flats or wedge heels appropriate for an outdoor ceremony
“Haven’t you read,’ he replied, ‘that at the beginning the Creator made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” Matthew 19:4-6 God clearly states in Matthew that a man and a woman will join together in marriage and become one flesh. Our intention in inviting you all to celebrate this marriage with us, is so that we can make a covenant before each other and the Lord to join as one in a bond that is permanent and honoring to God. The symbol of marriage demonstrates to the world the beauty of Christs relationship with his bride, the Church, as stated in Ephesians. This is first and foremost the most important relationship that we will honor and emulate in our marriage.
