We first met early in the morning at the Minneapolis airport waiting for our flight to Florida. We were going on a senior year spring break trip with mutual friends. While on spring break we shared many laughs and our snapchats with each other. After spring break we continued talking and realized we liked each other. Maddy visited Duluth, with some friends, where Alex was and our relationship continued to grow. It only took Maddy a year to give Alex the OK to ask her to be his girlfriend. We did long distance for a while, with Maddy in Rochester and Alex in Duluth then Coon Rapids. We decided it was time to move in together after a few years of dating and we decided to move to a different state! We love our home in Colorado and have loved being able to make memories together in a new state. While on a camping trip in Grand Teton National Park, on July 21st Alex proposed at the most beautiful spot.
