The Papermill is located in a rural, yet easily accessible part of the Kent countryside. It's a 5 minute drive from the pretty neighbouring village of Hawkhurst, which has a good selection of pubs and B&B's. Slightly further afield are the picturesque towns of Tenterden and Cranbrook. Tenterden is the slightly larger, with more amenities. The nearest train stations are; Robertsbridge, Headcorn, and Staplehurst. All of these are on lines into that London. Please bear in mind that places in the UK are booking up fast due to Covid. Please note that the wedding venue is rural, with poor mobile signal. To that end it is imperative that you pre-book a taxi for the end of the night before getting riotously drunk, dancing poorly, and whooping madly by the fire. Let us know where you are staying and we can hook you up with someone else to share the ride.

Travel Note

Please note if you are driving to the venue

There are two entrances to Foxhole Lane off of the A268. Both lead onto Hinksden Road where you will find the venue. If travelling from Tunbridge Wells and Hawkhurst, for ease of driving, please use the second entrance to Foxhole Lane. This will result in initially turning onto Sponden Lane from the A268, then taking the left fork in the road to get onto Foxhole Lane. We can assure you this is an easier drive, and is more forgiving on your car as well!
